About Samantha
My name's Samantha, but in the classroom, I go by Mrs. Salas. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from FAU and have spent my whole life in sunny South Florida. Being the youngest of five, I've been teaching for five years now—three of those in first grade and two in middle school science. Teaching is my passion, and I absolutely love it.

My approach to teaching emphasizes making the learning experience enjoyable. Engaging students through hands-on activities fosters their involvement with the material being studied. My lesson plan kicks off with introducing the topic, followed by some hands-on application. Then, I set up an activity for practice, and to wrap things up, students tackle an assignment independently to gauge their understanding and identify any areas where they might need help.
