About Kianna
I have my diploma in Early Learning and Childcare, with a specialization in Literacy. I specialize in reading with children, and teaching reading, letter recognition, and reading comprehension. I also have quite a few university level English courses, and I am more than happy to read Shakespeare!

I believe that everyone can enjoy reading, we just need to discover what books you will be interested in! Especially when learning to read, or struggling with reading comprehension, we just need to find books that are of interest, so that way you are actually interested in what you are reading!
In older grades, I know you don't necessarily get a choice in what book you read, but that doesn't mean you have to struggle with it. We can work towards comprehension, and working on assignments or goals you have in your class. We can break it down into smaller sections, make notes of what we're looking for in the chapter/ book, and talk it through.
