About Ashley
I received my bachelor’s degree from Illinois State University in Early Childhood with an endorsement in Special Education. I have worked in many different settings ranging from pre-k-1st grade. I have experience with students who have medical and physical challenges, as well as typically developing students! I am mom of 2 and would love to help you along your educational journey!

As a former teacher in the public schools, I have had the privilege to teach many different students pre-reading skills and decoding skills in order to take the next steps with reading! I love to make learning fun and hands-on with a variety of movement and kinesthetic activities! My philosophy is to make learning fun and engaging with lots of positive encouragement along the way! I’d love to help your little one feel confident in their ability to read independently!
