About Amy
I have taught English at the Middle and High School levels and have a Bachelor's Degree in English, a Master's degree in Secondary Administration, and a doctorate in Administration and Leadership. I have worked with reluctant learners and gifted students in Advanced Placement courses and feel I can assist you by working with you where you are in the curriculum.

I use a collaborative approach to start where you are and increase your success. A typical lesson plan includes an objective, and activities to increase understanding. A check for understanding is included at the end of the lesson. I am willing to work with all students grades 6 to college level on English Literature and writing. I am patient and proactive and bring years of experience to help you be successful.
