About Caroline

My goal is help people learn about themselves and how they can be independent and successful. Feeling lost or needing help in school can feel overwhelming and I want to help ease the stress. I have five years of college experience and three years teaching experience and have faced many intimidating assignments and teachers and want to share my skills to help others connect the real world to the classroom.

About the lesson

Over my years of studying education and working with students from pre-k to undergraduate, I have adapted to working with many different types of learners. I believe the first step is to identify where the student is performing at, and the method best suited for them to achieve. My teaching methods, therefore, are quite individualized which is perfect for a tutoring environment becauseI have the chance to work one on one with the student. I am experienced to assist in many areas of English and literacy. This can range from essay writing/ proof reading, research and thesis formulation, application and resume writing, text analysis, or creative writing assignments. I also have a long history in the creative studio arts and would love to assist in any studio needs or project planning, or even just creative problem solving!
