About Kelly
With over 20 years of experience working with students, I am passionate about making learning fun, engaging, and meaningful. As a certified ADHD and Executive Function coach, I specialize in identifying each student's individual strengths and challenges to provide personalized, targeted support. I use a structured literacy approach grounded in the science of reading and delivered through multisensory methods, visual, auditory, and kinesthetic, to develop essential phonics, decoding, and encoding skills. By teaching in small, intentional steps, I help students build a strong foundation in reading and spelling, which boosts fluency, confidence, and long-term academic success.

I have experience and training in the Orton-Gillingham method and work with students using a structured, multisensory approach to teach reading and spelling, especially beneficial for learners with dyslexia. I support the development of phonics, decoding, and encoding skills through visual, auditory, and kinesthetic modalities, using small, incremental steps to build a strong foundation in language. This personalized instruction improves reading fluency, spelling, and confidence. In addition to literacy support, I also serve as an Executive Function Coach, helping students identify strengths and challenges in areas like organization, time management, and focus. By combining evidence-based reading instruction with targeted executive function strategies, I empower students to develop the tools they need for academic success and greater independence both in and out of the classroom.
