About Kaitlyn
I am a former teacher turned full-time Master's student studying Education Policy. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. Formally, I was a 3rd and 2nd grade teacher where I taught all 6 subjects (reading, writing, math, social studies, science, and health) to classes of 30 students.

My teaching method is very organized and laid out chronologically. I aim to tie subject matter to the background knowledge of the students I am teaching. I allow students to try and think on their own first before teaching something new. I approach each subject with an activity that is engaged and allows students to brainstorm.
