About Walker

Do you find yourself stuck when a command stops working in the middle of a project? Getting unstuck is a skill I teach directly because I remember how frustrating that process feels. I started tutoring to pay rent and stayed because this work remains more interesting than my previous jobs.

Nervous beginners are a large part of my week, and I enjoy helping them navigate the confusion of complex software interfaces. Having earned a B.Arch from the University of Maryland, I prioritize clear and methodical communication. I have worked with hundreds of students over the last 3 years to simplify their technical hurdles. My approach ensures that you gain confidence through consistent practice rather than memorization.

About the lesson

Simplicity in drafting often requires more discipline than complex drafting. You will start by mastering measurement and inquiry tools before moving to arrays and parametric constraints.

We then cover 3D modeling basics and the essential flow of importing and exporting DWG or PDF files. Managing your model space and paper space requires a firm grasp on blocks and attributes.

Efficiency stems from keyboard-driven drafting and precise layer management. We will explore isometric drawing techniques alongside the specific 6 core workflows that define modern architectural production.

Training sessions utilize my B.Arch background to simulate real project environments. These meetings remain focused on practical application rather than abstract theory. You leave with actionable habits that streamline your production time significantly.
