About Kimbery
I graduated from college in 2006 and have been teaching students in an elementary school for the last 19 years. I have taught all grades K-5. My master's degree in special ed has allowed me to have a lot of experience working with students who have special needs. I have experience working with students who have cognitive impairments, ADHD, learning disabilities, Down syndrome and so much more. I enjoy tailoring lessons to individual needs and meeting students where they are academically.

I absolutely love working with kids and helping them learn and grow. I specialize in teaching grades K-4, reading and math and love to make learning fun and enjoyable for the kids I work with. I believe in an interest-based approach where I connect learning with what students are already interested in. This helps make the lessons more meaningful and fun.
