About Amanda

I’m a proud mom of two wonderful boys—my spirited 8-year-old, who is on the autism spectrum, and my sweet and curious 22-month-old. Married and going by she/her/Mrs., I balance family life with my passion for teaching and helping children feel confident, valued, and loved. Whether I’m at the beach soaking in the sun, curled up with a good book, or enjoying a breezy drive with the windows and top down on my Jeep, I find joy in life’s simple moments. My personal and professional experiences fuel my commitment to creating supportive, encouraging environments where every child can thrive and believe in their own potential.

An elementary teacher with a focus in special education and behavior consulting designs and implements multifaceted lessons that address both academic growth and individual student needs. By blending evidence-based instructional strategies with targeted behavioral supports, they create engaging, accessible learning experiences for students of all abilities. Lessons are carefully differentiated, integrating visual supports, hands-on activities, and technology to reinforce key concepts while promoting independence and confidence. Through ongoing assessment and data-driven adjustments, the teacher ensures each child receives the right balance of challenge and support, fostering not only academic achievement but also social-emotional development and positive behavior skills that will serve them well beyond the classroom.
