About Adam
I am a natural-born storyteller and communicator, which makes a great educator. I love hearing new stories, new songs, new ideas. I believe in the abilities of everybody to be creative and deeply passionate about art, but I take that seriously. I do not like working with people who will not put in the effort! If you want to be good at your craft, whether you want to learn essay writing, poetry, or video game design, I am undoubtedly a great mentor and teacher in these areas. I am myself a published poet and author, as well as a video game designer and musician (and an amateur photographer to boot). I have one daughter (named Edith) and one cat (named Ross). I really love working with youth! But am equally interested in working with adults, especially with other adults who work with youth. I am anti-AI (though I do see some uses for it in health and science), but I believe it is a regressive technology which limits human possibility and creativity (and I have done the research to back this up!) I want to invest in human skills, before we lose them altogether!

My experience ranges from creative writing workshops to delivering seminars and teaching 'professional writing' at a tertiary level.
I am happy to work with youth or adults who are interested in writing poetry and digital narratives, as well as ppl interested in representational arts (media studies, photography, videogames etc.)
My methodology involves close reading (so some homework), and in-depth discussions. I am a very welcoming and friendly person, who never fails to entertain.
I love working with ppl from all different walks of life!
