About Mohsen
On paper, I am an engineer with a b-school degree and various professional experiences.
On screen and in real life, I am a light-hearted, caring and diligent person with a vested interest in your success. I sincerely believe that success is a side effect of learning. To this end, I focus on your learning first. From my experience, the best learning happens when the student enjoys the subject matter. The reason for this is that you have been able to connect to the topic in some way.
I try to focus on those connections, turning the abstract into common things. For example, there might be questions that test speed, distance and time. For such questions, I would draw a comparison to the last time you drove a car or took the bus/train to make it more relatable. By putting you in the driver seat, I will let you lead your own learning and provide support as we go!

I have taken the GMAT many times and mastered the material as well as the mental preparation.
My teaching methods are based on a quick review of theory and then a dive into sample questions. We will work through the topics and themes most common in the exam. I tend to use a lot of visuals to describe the question and how to approach it. For most topics, there will come a point when the student has a "aha!" moment. This is partly by design.
There is probably no difference between me and other tutors other than the mental preparation I will give you. A large part of your performance will come down to how you manage exam day stress. I have been there, I know the feelings that take over inside and out. As such, I will prepare you to manage those emotions and stay focused on the exam. I will also show you how to enjoy the the process of answering GMAT questions (believe it or not).
These lessons are for anyone taking the GMAT regardless of age, language spoken, math ability etc.
