About Jonathan
I am an incoming graduate engineering student at Northeastern University based in California studying data science. My bachelor's is in computer network engineering.
I teach math, IT, and computer science by making complex things more simple to understand using analogies and relatable real-life examples.
I have been working in IT for the past 4 years. I hold four CompTIA certifications including the Cloud+, Network+, Security+, and A+. I am also certified in Linux.

The first thing that I do during my lessons with a new student is get to really know how they learn and what kinds of approaches make sense to them and what approaches don't.
I think it's really important for me to take the time to understand where students get confused and help "fill in the gaps" while working with them to get across the finish line.
I find that when the time is taken to address those gaps and then students are helped to understand step-by-step how something works, it improves ability to remember. I also help students with strategies to remember what they are learning as well as make connections to past material that was reviewed. Everyone has their own path and I'm here to help make that path as easy, smooth, and fulfilling as possible.
