About Avril
I have been a teacher for over 11 years now in both Australia and Canada. I have worked in most of my career in the International Baccalaureate system, as well as the public and catholic systems here in Alberta. I believe that with support any student is able to attain the goals they have set out in their continued growth as life long learners. I remain professional and will make sure that all students needs are met.

Depending on what level/ grade the students are at will depict what help will be given. I have created lessons for ranges of levels and grades, and will be able to help and connect with many students. I think it is very important to have a wide range of options for students, as everyone learns differently. I also love getting to know my students and their interests. This also gives me a sense of how each student learns and their ability level. For lessons I will go over what is being taught, our learning goals and how we are going to achieve these, then our understanding of the knowledge being taught.
