About Per
I graduated from Western Washington University with BA in English Literature. From there, I spent seven years teaching English at Pacific Learning Academy and Spring Academy in the Seattle, Washington area. In both settings, I worked with each student one-to-one to build a curriculum that fit their learning style and (within reason) catered to their intellectual interests. I am respectful and open-minded, patient and compassionate. I have worked with students of all backgrounds, including those with various neurodivergencies. My primary goal is for everyone who works with me to feel safe enough to learn.

It has always been a necessity for me to take a personalized approach with my students, which helps us get to know each other and have more fun with the subjects we explore together.
