About Ellen
I am a senior with English and Asian Studies majors with an Education concentration at St Olaf college. I have been trained in english and reading education with experience working with elementary school students through college students. I also have certification in College level writing tutoring from the College Reading and Learning Association.

My teaching methods are tailored to the individual students and their needs, as the goal of teaching and tutoring is to create better readers, writers, and students, rather than better papers and assignments. Lessons involve both lecture and discussion, with activities to assess understanding and review of previous concepts to solidify that understanding.
