About Numa

Hello! My name is Numa, and I am a dedicated and enthusiastic tutor with a strong academic background in English, Biology, and Chemistry. As an IGCSE and A-Level graduate, I achieved A* grades in First Language English, Biology, and Chemistry, reflecting both my subject knowledge and commitment to academic excellence.

Since 2023, I have been providing private tutoring to students of various ages and abilities, helping them strengthen their understanding of key concepts, improve their grades, and build confidence in their learning. I understand that every student learns differently, which is why I tailor my lessons to suit each individual’s needs, learning style, and academic goals.

Beyond academics, I am passionate about communication and education. Winning my school’s English Debate Competition strengthened my public speaking and critical thinking skills, while my volunteer experiences taught me patience, empathy, and the importance of supporting others in their personal growth.

Parents and students can expect a professional, supportive, and encouraging learning environment where questions are always welcome and progress is consistently monitored. My aim is not only to help students succeed in their exams but also to develop their confidence, independence, and enjoyment of learning.

I look forward to helping students reach their full potential and achieve the academic success they deserve.

About the lesson

I am an IGCSE and A-Level graduate with A grades in First Language English, Biology, and Chemistry*. I have been providing private tutoring since 2023, teaching English to students of all grades and Biology and Chemistry to students in Grades 5–9. Through personalized lesson planning and continuous feedback, I have helped students improve their understanding, confidence, homework completion, and exam results.

My lessons are suitable for:

* Primary and secondary school students
* English students of all school levels
* Biology and Chemistry students from Grades 5–9
* Students preparing for school exams and assessments
* Learners who want to strengthen their understanding and boost their confidence in class
