About Cameron

Hello! My name is Cameron! I'm an English Composition professor at Georgia State University. I've been teaching at the university level for three years now. I've taught English Composition, Creative Writing, and African American Studies.

In addition to my teaching career, I'm currently a MFA student studying creative writing at Georgia State University. Previously, I earned my MA in English from Ball State University and my BA in Film/Media Studies & BA in English from Ball State University.

About the lesson

My teaching method revolves around creating an engaging and interactive learning environment tailored to the individual needs of my students. I believe in employing a variety of techniques to accommodate different learning styles, including:

Interactive Discussions: Encouraging open dialogue and critical thinking through discussions to deepen understanding of the subject matter.

Hands-on Activities: Incorporating practical exercises, simulations, or experiments to reinforce theoretical concepts.

Visual Aids: Utilizing visual aids such as diagrams, charts, and multimedia presentations to enhance comprehension and retention.

Socratic Questioning: Guiding students through a series of thought-provoking questions to stimulate analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Formative Assessment: Providing regular feedback and assessments to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
