My name is Wendy. I am a friendly and patient tutor. I help students improve their English and Math step by step. My goal is to make learning clear, useful, and comfortable. I offer online or in-person or hybrid.
My Teaching Style
I teach in a simple and practical way. I use easy language and clear examples. I focus on real-life situations, like work, daily conversations, and tests.
In English lessons, students practice speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
In Math lessons, I explain each step slowly so students understand, not just memorize.
I always check if the student understands before moving on.
A Typical Lesson
Each lesson is organized but simple:
-Review (go over past lesson)
-Learn something new
-Practice together
-Practice alone
-Ask questions and review
What Makes Me Different
I am patient and supportive. I understand that learning a new language or math can be hard. I create a safe space where students can make mistakes and learn.
I focus on real-life skills, not just textbooks.
I teach:
Adults and newcomers to Canada
Beginners and intermediate students
Students preparing for exams (like CAEC or English tests)
Anyone who wants to improve English for work or daily life
Students who need help with basic Math
I change each lesson to match the student’s level and goals.
My goal is to help students feel confident and ready to use English and Math in real life.
