About Jane

The students I have taught in the past have returned to thank me. They are not just students but become friends and I often help them to understand cultural and social differences. All my students have successfully gone on to Tertiary studies.

About the lesson

My tutoring approach is largely to assist students to understand what is required of them in their course and to assist them with their essays and assignments. I do not like to write the students work for them because it does not help them in the long run.
I have a Masters in Education, a Bachelor of Arts with Hons and a Certificate in Teaching English as an Additional Language.

The typical length of a lesson would be 45-50 minutes. That is long enough for a student's concentration.

I am best suited to teach EAL and mainstream secondary school and EAL University students completing their Bachelor degree or equivalent.
