About Sierra
I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in English Education in 2018 after completing a full semester of student-teaching. I then taught English Language Arts in a middle school for four years. I loved it, but I wanted to take some time to be at home more with my three year old son. I have done a lot of my own writing, I love to read for fun, and I pride myself in establishing good relationships with my students, while focusing on pushing them academically.

I want to provide a personalized experience for you as a student, by developing lessons for what you need most. I can help students improve writing, through grammar lessons & practice and providing specific feedback. We will analyze literature together, and I can teach you how to identify literary elements in a story. We can improve your spelling by practicing common, and grade-level words. I am certified to teach 6th-12th grade students.
