About Eleanor

I have 11 years of experience teaching English and hold a Bachelor’s in English Studies and a Master’s in Applied Linguistics. My academic background provided advanced study of language systems, communication strategies, and effective teaching methods. Over the years, I have supported students preparing for higher education, career advancement, and personal language growth.

I believe that successful language development requires patience, organisation, and continuous motivation. I carefully assess each student’s strengths, challenges, and long-term goals before designing a structured and personalised lesson plan. Outside teaching, I continue studying modern research in linguistics and communication to refine my instructional approach. About the lesson

My English lessons are carefully organised to develop strong grammar accuracy, clear writing structure, and confident speaking ability in a balanced way. I begin by strengthening essential grammar areas such as tense control, sentence formation, subject-verb agreement, punctuation accuracy, and paragraph organisation. These topics are explained in simple English with practical examples that students can easily understand and apply. After each explanation, learners complete guided exercises to reinforce learning and reduce repeated mistakes. Building strong grammar foundations ensures stable and measurable progress in both written and spoken communication.

As students improve, I focus on expanding vocabulary through academic topics, workplace communication themes, and structured daily conversations. Speaking practice includes guided discussions that help learners organise their ideas clearly before expressing them. Writing activities develop paragraph unity, essay structure, logical transitions, and argument clarity. Reading exercises strengthen comprehension and introduce new vocabulary in context, while listening practice improves understanding of natural speech speed and varied accents. Regular revision sessions help students retain knowledge and apply it confidently.

My goal is to help students communicate clearly and professionally in academic and real-life situations. Through structured lessons, consistent feedback, and steady encouragement, learners develop lasting fluency, strong analytical thinking, and the confidence to express ideas accurately and effectively.
