About Theo
I am a qualified Theologian with a love for languages. After Tutoring Greek at University level, I decided to pursue a career in teaching. Currently I facilitate English and Academic Literacy classes at the University of the Free State. If you want to sharpen up your English language or writing skills, want someone to take a look at your assignment, dissertation etc., or even need help to draw up a CV and write a catchy cover letter, I am happy to help.

My teaching method is entirely based on the premises that the student only needs guidance towards reaching his/her goal. It is a 'journey' rather than a 'lecture'. In this way the student can exploit his/her own knowledge by learning to access and ponder what they already know, rather than being fed a bunch of new information.
