About Julia
My name is Julia. I am Franco-Brazilian and an academic, specialising in French poetry and History. Before that, I was a language teacher and an early-years teaching assistant - so I really have done it all! My classes draw on my experience as an early-years TA to incorporate phonics and language acquisition, while my experience at a lecturer in French language and literature helps me use real-life documents and situations to ensure classes will be relevant to students' experience. Whether I'm teaching adults or children, however, I believe in preparing fun lessons!
