About Abbey
I am an English graduate with a genuine love for reading, writing, and literature. I set myself a personal goal of reading 70 books this year, which reflects how passionate I am about continuously engaging with language and storytelling. I particularly loved studying literature during my degree and enjoy analyzing texts, themes, and characters. I want to teach because I enjoy helping students develop their understanding of English and gain confidence in their abilities. I aim to create a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and growing.

I am an English graduate offering supportive and personalised grinds for Junior and Leaving Cert students. My approach focuses on building confidence, strengthening reading and writing skills, and developing strong exam techniques. I believe every student has strengths in different areas, and I am great at identifying what each student is good at and encouraging those strengths to help improve their overall knowledge and understanding of the subject. Lessons are tailored to each student’s needs, whether they require help with essays, comprehension, poetry, or exam preparation. I aim to create a relaxed and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and improving at their own pace.
