About Catherine
Whether you are trying to get ahead or just keep up, my goal is to help you build confidence that allows you to take ownership of your learning! As a student I understand how overwhelming assignments can feel, but with my support and direction we can focus on surpassing your academic goals. I have worked with high school and college students on everything from essays and research projects to history tests and college applications. Such experience has demonstrated the importance of understanding a variety of learning styles and the necessity of catering to all.

My goal is to break down complex topics (whether it be an insurmountable assignment or antiquated reading) into manageable parts. I often utilize guiding questions to encourage critical thinking that is on the right track and do my best to bring real-world examples into discussion.

Catherine is so helpful with constructing essays! I have gone to her with every writing assignment I've had for the past two semesters as a sophomore at UT.
