Language acquisition often feels like a puzzle that refuses to lock into place. I hold an MA in Comparative Literature from NYU and have spent 14 years guiding students through the complexities of English, French, and Spanish. My approach is direct because clarity is the fastest route to fluency.
Translation work occupies my professional life, which keeps my own linguistic skills sharp and adaptable. I serve as an AP English teacher and an examiner for the DELE and DELF systems. These roles require me to understand exactly how learners stumble and how they eventually excel. My students frequently tackle multiple languages at once, moving from phonics to advanced prose under my instruction.
