Hello! I’m Nicole Gradidge, a professional and patient tutor with experience teaching English (all ages up to GCSE), 11+ preparation, ESL, Maths, Spanish, and French. I love helping students build confidence, improve skills, and enjoy learning. My lessons are friendly, structured, and tailored to each student’s needs, creating a positive environment where learners feel supported and motivated. About My Lessons Hello! I’m Nicole Gradidge, a friendly and professional tutor who loves helping students gain confidence, improve skills, and enjoy learning. I teach English for all ages (Primary to GCSE), 11+ preparation, and also offer ESL (English as a Second Language), Maths, Spanish, and French lessons. My teaching style is patient, supportive, and adaptable — I always tailor lessons to each learner’s needs, pace, and goals. What my lessons are like: Clear, step-by-step explanations that make learning easy and engaging Interactive activities to build understanding and confidence Encouraging feedback that helps students see progress every week A calm, positive space where it’s okay to make mistakes and learn from them For English students (Primary–GCSE): Grammar, reading comprehension, creative writing, and essay skills Help with homework, test preparation, and developing critical thinking For 11+ learners: Focused work on comprehension, vocabulary, writing, and reasoning Exam techniques and practice to build speed and confidence For ESL learners: Practical communication for everyday situations Grammar, pronunciation, and vocabulary development Lessons designed to build fluency, accuracy, and natural expression For Maths, Spanish, and French: Step-by-step explanations with plenty of practice and support Focus on understanding, not memorising Encouraging approach to build both skills and confidence Whether you’re preparing for exams, learning a new language, or catching up on schoolwork, I’ll help you learn in a way that feels comfortable, structured, and motivating. We have been working with Nicole now for the last 5 years or so. My oldest was struggling with English and not only did Nicole help him pass his English SATS papers but she had built confidence that my son lacked, she push through and persevered with my sons lack of confidence and completely turned it around. As a result of the fantastic job she had did with my son, we have now entrusted her to provide that same support and confidence with our middle child on all her studies until her SATS start next year. Nicole is a very trustworthy, honest, transparent and thoughtful person, I would highly recommend her to anyone who requires a tutor. She is more than just an online teacher, she truly cares about the children that she teaches and corrects behaviours where necessary. Should my third child require support with his learning, I know who I’m calling.
