About Katie
I am a University student, currently in the second year of my English Language and Linguistics degree. I passed all my A levels and completed an EPQ. When studying for these exams I took detailed notes and learned about different forms of revision in order to improve my results. The knowledge I have gained from this has been invaluable to me in my later learning and I am happy to share all my tips and tricks.

My lessons will be adapted to the needs of each student, this includes lesson lengths and breaks. Typically lessons will last an hour but this can be further discussed. My teaching incorporates many principles of learning. This includes repetition and recycling, Visual aids, contextualised learning and task based learning. I have three years of experience tutoring A-level students in English, Biology and Geography. My lessons are appropriate for students aged 6-18 as well as those (any age) learning English as a second of foreign language.
