About Nova

I have nurtured a lifelong passion for English, which led me to pursue a B.A. in English Literature and an M.A. in Applied Linguistics. Over 8 years, I have taught learners of diverse ages and backgrounds, helping them achieve fluency, confidence, and expressive skills that extend beyond rote learning. My teaching philosophy emphasizes individualized attention, practical application, and fostering a love for language, combining interactive exercises, creative activities, and constructive feedback to guide students toward mastery.

I structure lessons to integrate reading, writing, speaking, and listening in a balanced and engaging manner. I encourage independent thinking, curiosity, and critical engagement with texts, while providing a supportive environment where learners can experiment with language, make mistakes, and build confidence gradually.

Beyond teaching, I read extensively, study contemporary linguistic trends, and explore cultural content to enrich my lessons with real-world examples and cultural depth. Witnessing students transform from hesitant communicators to confident, articulate English users capable of expressing complex ideas with nuance and creativity is profoundly rewarding. My mission is to inspire lifelong learners who enjoy exploring English while developing communication skills that empower them academically, professionally, and personally.

About the lesson

English lessons are most impactful when students engage in reading, writing, listening, and speaking in an integrated, interactive, and practical approach. I focus on grammar mastery, vocabulary expansion, sentence structure, idiomatic usage, pronunciation, reading comprehension, creative writing, and conversational skills. Lessons are designed to foster curiosity, independent thinking, and active participation, creating a supportive environment where learners feel confident exploring the language and expressing themselves fully.

Beginners start with essential grammar, basic vocabulary, sentence formation, and pronunciation exercises to build foundational communication skills. Intermediate learners refine advanced grammar, paragraph writing, critical reading, structured essay composition, and oral communication through dialogues, presentations, and storytelling. Advanced students develop analytical writing, argumentation, stylistic expression, literary analysis, and professional communication abilities. Each lesson combines interactive exercises, real-world examples, and constructive feedback to ensure meaningful progress and language retention.

Learning English enhances cognitive skills, cultural literacy, and expressive competence. Students develop the ability to communicate effectively, think critically, and participate confidently in social, academic, and professional contexts.
