About Octavia
My interest in English language and communication developed during my academic years when I discovered the influence language has on learning and connection. Reading literature and studying communication helped me appreciate the power of words and expression. This interest led me to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in English Language and Literature.
Over the past 7 years, I have worked with students who want to improve their English speaking, reading, and writing abilities. Some learners focus on everyday communication, while others aim to strengthen academic language skills. My teaching approach emphasizes patience, supportive guidance, and clear explanations.
Outside teaching, I enjoy reading books, exploring different writing styles, and learning about communication methods in different cultures. These interests help me bring fresh ideas into my lessons. Helping students gain confidence while using English remains one of the most meaningful aspects of my teaching career.

My English lessons focus on helping students develop practical communication skills. Beginners begin by learning essential vocabulary, pronunciation practice, and basic sentence structures. I guide learners through everyday conversations such as introducing themselves, describing activities, and asking simple questions. Listening exercises help students understand natural spoken English and improve comprehension gradually.
As students progress, lessons include reading passages, conversation practice, and guided writing tasks. Grammar topics such as verb tenses, sentence structure, and question forms are explained in a simple and understandable way. Students practice expressing ideas through speaking and writing so they can build balanced language abilities. These activities help learners expand their vocabulary and improve overall communication.
Learning English requires patience and consistent effort. I encourage students to participate actively in conversations and try using new words during lessons. Mistakes are treated as learning opportunities that help students grow. With regular practice, learners develop clearer pronunciation and stronger confidence in English communication.
