About Ruby
Hi! I'm Ruby and I am very passionate about improving students' confidence in their reading and writing skills. Whether you are confident in your skills and just need some challenging yet engaging test prep, or you need some reassurance that English can be easy and fun, I am here to be a down-to-earth and trustworthy guide. I will always listen to your concerns and assure you achieve vital personal goals as well as provide enthusiastic motivation whilst never judging you. I have studied English at every academic level and have achieved the top grades in English language at GCSE and A-Level, despite having to work extremely hard to keep motivated and achieve consistent grades - I know how hard this can be. Therefore you can rely on me to be an understanding and friendly motivator.

A down-to-earth and enthusiastic young student who can offer 1-2 hour lessons teaching basic spelling and literacy as well as test prep and essay writing. I have achieved an 8 in English Language at GCSE level, an A in English Language at A-Level and I am currently studying for a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Linguistics at a Russell Group University. Therefore I am comfortable teaching GCSE and A-Level skills as well as pre-GCSE English skills to boost literacy and overall confidence in English. I have experience teaching disadvantaged 11-13 year-olds basic literacy, reading and comprehension as a part of a scheme provided by my secondary school and find joy in improving students' confidence in their reading and writing abilities.
