About Selena
Teaching provides a way for me to share the nuance of language that I studied during my MA at NYU. Sometimes the hardest part of writing is actually starting the first sentence.
I help students with proofreading, essay writing, and literature analysis. I also cover phonics for beginners, conversational practice, and interview preparation.
My experience includes guiding learners through exam preparation like IELTS and TOEFL. Grammar, creative writing, and vocabulary are also regular topics in our work. I am happy to help you refine your English voice in a supportive way.

Struggling with complex essay structures is a problem that almost everyone faces at some point. I admit that I still find certain grammar rules tricky even after years of teaching. My goal is to make these concepts manageable for my 301 students. We will focus on clear communication and logical flow.
I provide 9 hours of structured review materials for your specific needs. We can look at your current assignments or focus on building your confidence for upcoming exams. My background allows me to break down literature and professional writing into simple steps. We will work together until you feel ready for your next big challenge.
