I hold a BA (Hons) in English Literature and have over 5 years of teaching experience, specialising in GCSE English and Functional Skills. I work with a wide range of learners, with a particular focus on students preparing for their GCSE exams or retakes. My lessons are typically 45 minutes to 1 hour long, and I tailor each session to suit the individual needs of the student. I place a strong emphasis on building confidence alongside skills, using a clear, structured approach that breaks down exam requirements and helps students develop effective reading and writing strategies. Whether you need support with understanding literature texts, improving analytical writing, or boosting performance in exam-style questions, I provide targeted practice, feedback, and revision techniques designed to help students achieve their goals.
