About Lyra
My interest in teaching English began with a passion for language, literature, and communication. I pursued a B.A. in English Language and Communication, gaining expertise in grammar, writing, speaking, and pedagogical methods. Over 10 years, I have guided students of varying ages and levels, helping them develop fluency, confidence, and a deeper understanding of English.
I teach with patience, clarity, and adaptability, tailoring lessons to each student’s needs and learning style. I emphasize comprehension and practical application rather than memorization, encouraging students to think critically and express ideas confidently. Interactive methods, discussion, and reflective exercises are central to my approach.
Outside teaching, I remain engaged in literature, language development, and contemporary communication trends. Teaching English is deeply rewarding because I help learners gain confidence, express themselves effectively, and enjoy the process of language learning in meaningful and practical ways.

Students are encouraged to participate fully and apply concepts practically, enhancing both retention and enjoyment.
Lesson content is tailored to the learner’s needs. Beginners focus on vocabulary, simple sentence construction, pronunciation, and listening skills. Intermediate learners work on grammar refinement, conversational fluency, writing coherence, and discussion practice. Advanced learners focus on essay writing, argumentation, debate skills, and stylistic expression.
