About Bri
As an English Literature graduate, my passion for the written word goes beyond the classroom. My academic background has provided me with a deep understanding of language, theory, and effective communication, which I am eager to share with you. I believe that literacy is the foundation of all learning, and I take great pride in helping others master it.
Furthermore, in my current occupation as a substitute teacher, I maintain a professional and supportive environment where students feel safe to ask questions and take creative risks. My approach is rooted in patience and a genuine desire to see my students succeed. When you work with me, you are getting a dedicated mentor who is committed to both your academic growth and long-term confidence.

I offer comprehensive English support tailored to every stage of a student's journey, from K-12 and beyond! For younger learners, I focus on building a strong foundation in phonics, reading comprehension, and the joy of storytelling. For middle school students and above, I shift toward advanced essay structure, literary analysis, and test preparation. I am also well trained in literary analysis at the University level, ranging from topics like Deconstruction to Formalism.
As an English Literature graduate, I understand how to break down complex ELA concepts into manageable steps. My goal is to meet every student where they are, helping them build the critical thinking skills and writing confidence they need to succeed at any grade level.
In my lessons, I bridge the gap between complex literary theory and practical writing skills. Whether we are deconstructing classic texts or refining your creative essays, my goal is to help you develop a critical eye and a confident voice.
