About Katarina
I am a recent graduate of the University of Glasgow with a Master's degree in English Literature: Fantasy, achieving an average mark of 79%. I would like to return to tutoring after some time away because I enjoy literature and would love to ignite that passion in others. I also would like to do a PhD some day and am keen to get more teaching experience.

Previously, I tutored at the Community College of Rhode Island, teaching Spanish language. As a tutor, I customize my lessons according to the needs of my students, measure progress, and cultivate an encouraging learning environment. I do not believe in cookie cutter same-size-fits-all lessons. I am neurodivergent and have experienced firsthand how difficult it can be to learn when lessons aren't being taught in ways that accommodate my learning styles and needs, and how discouraging it can be when you begin to struggle. That's why I work to ensure lessons are taught in ways that work for the unique learning styles of my clients.
