About Jess
I have recently completed my A-Levels (English Literature, Italian, History and Politics) and have received an offer to study English Literature at Oxford University, where I hope to start this coming autumn. In terms of my past experience working with students, I formed an active member of my school community, working in particular with the English department in schemes to encourage a love of reading in younger students.

As I have recently completed my A-Levels, I am well placed to understand the A-Level course and requirements, though would also be able to help with GCSE-level or younger students. I would love to work with students to help them engage personally with the texts they study, as I believe that finding a personal connection to the works is not only rewarding, but produces positive results. Alongside this, I would help students develop their understanding of the wider context of the works, and focus on essay technique to boost their exam confidence.
