About Elliot
I have had 15 years teaching English and Social Studies for elementary and secondary students. I have had over 225 students in my daily classes, as well individuals in a contained setting and pull out. I never missed a day of teaching and my students look forward to my approach and style. I have worked with Special Education, Mainstream, AP, IB, and Gifted Students. I have used natural and logical consequences, goal attainment, incentives, and recognition points.

I individualize my approach to match the students concerns, needs, abilities, and motivation. I use visual, auditory styles,and cooperative team work. I use base line measurement, feedback, evaluation, positive reinforcement, best practices. My students enjoy my approach, humor, and concern for each student. My work has proven to advance their achievement and progress often in double the time. Students often say that I am their favorite teacher.
