I am a graduate of the University of Texas at San Antonio. I have a bachelor's in English with an emphasis on professional writing. I have been teaching English lit and writing to gen ed population for 6 years, art for 2 years, and special education resource class English/lit and transition/life skills/social skills for 6 years as well as dyslexia intervention instruction for 3 years.

Classical education literature/composition teacher, also certified in special education and dyslexia intervention instruction seeks scholars needing enhanced personalized instruction. In classical education, a great deal of time is spent instilling a sense of wonder without the use of technology. Entire novels are read and annotated to prepare for seminar to answer and discuss questions that invoke deeper thinking. Intensive instruction is given on putting those thoughts into writing (handwritten, not typed), into rough drafts, proofread, edited, then into final drafts.
