About Millie

My name is Millie, I'm a native English speaker who fell in love with language learning after studying A Level Spanish. I am currently learning French, and I teach based upon my own experiences of learning a foreign language. Yo soy Millie, soy hablante natual de inglés que enamorarse con aprender los idiomas después de estudiar el español por un A Level. Estoy aprendiendo el francés ahora, y enseño usando mis propias experiencias de aprender un idioma extranjero.

About the lesson

I ask students about their current English levels and goals for learning English, and create a personalised plan depending on the topics or skills (speaking, writing, reading, listening, grammar, conversation etc) that they would like to improve on. Lessons can be primarily in English or primarily in Spanish, or a mixture, depending on English level of the student. I am a native English speaker who has experience of learning second languages - I have learnt Spanish as a second language, and I am currently learning French. Lessons can be between 30 mins and 1 hour depending on what suits the student. Pido a mis estudiantes sobre su nivel de inglés y sus metas por aprender inglés, y creo un plan personal que depende en los tópicos o habilidades (hablar, escribir, leer, escuchar, gramática, conversation etc) que quieren mejorar. Clases pueden estar en español o inglés, o una mixta - depende del nivel de inglés del estudiante. Soy hablante inglés natural con experiencia de aprender segundas idiomas - he aprendido el español como un idioma extranjero, y estoy aprendiendo el francés en este momento. Una clase dura entre media hora hasta una hora - depende de lo que mi estudiante quiere.
