About Jane
I am a sophomore English student at University of Delaware. I have experience working with kids through peer mentoring, youth camps, babysitting, and other leadership roles. I’ve also always been especially comfortable with writing and English, which is why I decided to major in English at the University of Delaware. I want tutoring to feel comfortable and low-pressure.

Hi! My name is Jane LaCapra, and I’m a sophomore at the University of Delaware studying English and I am offering English tutoring for elementary, middle, and high school students. I can help with things like grammar, essays, reading comprehension, homework, creative writing, research papers, and general writing skills. I can also help with resumes and college application writing for older students.

I want tutoring to feel comfortable and low-pressure. I know that sometimes English assignments can be frustrating or confusing, so I’ll work with each student at their own pace and focus on whatever they’re struggling with most. Whether they need help with one specific assignment or want to improve their writing overall, I’m happy to help. I work with students of all skill levels and ages, and I’m always happy to answer questions and explain things in a way that makes sense to the individual student.
