About Phoebe
I am a student learning English Literature and Creative Writing at the University of Birmingham and am looking at becoming an English teacher in the future. I have a strong passion for this subject and would love to support others by sharing my knowledge. Sometimes all you need is a confidence boost and I am here to show you that with a little extra support, anything is possible.
I studied English Literature and Language, film studies and history at A Level and received an AAB.

I will spend an hour with a student where we can read through a passage from a studied text and discuss context, themes, terminology and effects alongside essay writing support for exam answers. I encourage physical and creative ways of working such as colour coding texts and creating revision mind maps or posters.
Whilst I have not tutored before, I have spent a few months volunteering as a teaching assistant in primary school, and look to start teacher training in the future.
