About Justin

Hello and welcome! My name is Justin, and I am passionate about helping people discover the joy and confidence that comes with learning a new language. I understand that every learner is unique. My approach is patient, encouraging, and tailored to your individual needs and goals. I create a safe, supportive space where you can feel comfortable to speak, make mistakes, and grow—because that’s where real learning happens. I am fluent in English and Afrikaans, My lessons are designed for adult learners and young adults, from beginners to intermediate speakers, who want to improve their conversation skills, pronunciation, and everyday communication—whether for work, travel, or personal enrichment. In our lessons, you can expect a structured yet flexible approach, with a strong focus on speaking, listening, and real-life situations. I bring energy, patience, and positivity to every session, and I am committed to helping you reach your goals at your own pace. If you’re looking for a dedicated, understanding, and approachable teacher who will support you on your learning journey, I would love to work with you!

About the lesson

My Methodology and What Makes Me Unique as a Teacher:
I believe that learning should feel natural, engaging, and personal. My approach is student-centered, meaning I adapt my teaching style to each student's learning pace, interests, and goals. I incorporate real-life situations, cultural references, and interactive activities to make lessons lively and practical. What makes me unique is my ability to create a relaxed, judgment-free environment where students feel confident to speak, make mistakes, and grow.

Languages I Am Proficient In and Able to Teach:

English (fluent)

Afrikaans (fluent)

Italian (intermediate to advanced conversational level)

What Students Can Expect From a Typical Lesson With Me:
A typical lesson will start with a brief check-in and review of previous work, followed by new content introduced through conversation, roleplay, or thematic activities. I focus heavily on speaking and listening skills but adjust to your needs (grammar, writing, pronunciation). You will receive personalized feedback, tips for self-study, and practical tools to continue learning outside the lesson.

Which Students My Lessons Are Aimed At:
I work best with adult learners and young adults (16+) at beginner to intermediate levels who want to improve their conversational skills, pronunciation, and confidence, whether for travel, work, or social purposes. I also welcome LGBTQ+ learners and those who feel more comfortable in an inclusive, friendly learning space.
