About Rebecca
As a dedicated English tutor with over three years of experience, I am committed to helping students achieve their academic goals with clarity, confidence, and a genuine love for the subject. Currently completing my degree in English, I bring both up-to-date knowledge and a relatable perspective to my teaching. My students know me for being approachable, organized, and genuinely invested in their progress. I take time to understand each learner’s needs and explain concepts in a way that makes sense to them. Whether you're aiming for a higher grade, struggling to keep up, or looking to refine your writing skills, I’ll support you every step of the way. Professionalism and preparation are at the heart of every lesson. You can expect structured sessions, engaging materials, and clear feedback—always tailored to your level and goals. I take pride in creating a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes, because that’s where real learning happens.

As a passionate and approachable English tutor currently completing my English degree, I focus on building each student’s confidence, understanding, and independent thinking. I tailor lessons to suit the student's individual learning style—whether they need help with essay writing, comprehension, poetry analysis, or exam technique.
I use a structured but flexible approach: first identifying the student’s strengths and challenges, then setting realistic goals. I break down complex ideas, use engaging materials, and encourage questions to ensure real understanding, not just memorisation.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes long and include a mix of explanation, discussion, and practice tasks. I regularly review progress and adjust lessons as needed to help students stay on track and feel supported.
I’ve been tutoring for over three years, working with both Junior and Leaving Cert students across different levels and abilities. Whether a student is aiming to improve grades, catch up on missed work, or reach top marks, I offer focused support in a calm, friendly environment.
My lessons are best suited for secondary school students aged 12–18, and I’m happy to work with all levels—from those struggling with the basics to higher-level students preparing for exams.
