About Kerrie
I am a qualified English teacher and take great pleasure in teaching all facets of English to all ages and levels of competency. I have very varied experience - regular high school English, literacy, essay writing, academic English, English as a second language. I have also taught English to adults for business purposes and as a second language. My interest lies in helping students find the way they learn best and developing lessons accordingly. I have a background in linguistics and learning languages, which gives me a deep foundation to navigate the teaching of every aspect of English. I look forward to collaborating with future students to improve their abilities and experience of the English language in away that is most comfortable to them.

My approach to teaching English is based upon prior discussion with the student and the way they feel they learn best. I like to improve upon my approach as we go along by asking for continual feedback and adjusting lessons accordingly. Similarly, the duration of lessons will be what suits the attention span of the student. I majored in linguistics and have a Masters in teaching and am open to teaching all levels and ages.
