I have worked as a Writing Center tutor and currently am an English teacher. I completed my thesis in poetry and have published many creative writing pieces. I have been editing and composing for years. I have a passion for English and hope to share it with all my students!

My teaching method depends on what works for you/your student! Typically I like to model skills, then gradually release responsibility from myself to the student. Then the skill becomes like second nature to them. Best case scenario: they are then able to teach me the skill. One of the best ways to learn something is often by teaching it.
