About Jane

I’m happy to meet in person (if possible) or through Zoom, Google Meet or FaceTime. I am patient and strive to adapt my teaching to meet each person’s unique learning style. Besides helping people reach their academic goals, I love to ski, hike, bike and travel.

About the lesson

Do you need help organizing your thoughts and working through the steps of the essay writing process? I can help!

I am familiar with the Canadian high school curriculum and passionate about tutoring reading and writing. My experience includes teaching English at the high school level and private tutoring.

Some of my clients are in primary school and need help with reading skills, others are adult ESL learners and many are high school English students. I have helped many students ADHD.

My qualifications Include:

Queen’s University
BA (English)
BPHE (Bachelor of Physical and Health Education)
BEd (Bachelor of Education)

Cambridge TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) certificate.
