About the lesson

I tailor my approach to the students, adding current literature, events, and delivery methods (video, podcasts, discussion forums, etc.) in order to engage and inspire learners from the secondary to post-graduate level and every learning style. I believe in the importance of reflection and action, giving learners the opportunity to take in new material and then apply it in their real life.

About Kathryn

I have an extensive and varied experience in education - working at both the secondary and post-secondary levels for nearly a decade and impacting over 500 students. I have taught English, Math, Writing, and mentored students in career readiness. My passion for teaching stems from my belief that education can inspire and empower anyone to achieve success and positively impact the world. This belief has compelled me to work in education through 1:1 tutoring, classrooms of 25+, coaching and advising roles, and within professional mentorship capacities.

Travel costs are accrued at $10 per every session requiring travel.

Cancellation policy for all classes:
Cancelled classes will result in no fee if cancelled a week in advance. If cancelled more than 4 days or more in advance of a scheduled session, customers will be charged 25% of the cost of the session. If cancelled 3 days or less in advance of a scheduled session, customers will be charged 50% of the cost of the session.
