About Afreen

Hi! I’m from South Africa and am currently pursuing a BCom degree in Accounting. I’m a friendly, patient, and motivated person who enjoys learning new things and meeting people from different backgrounds. Outside of my studies, I enjoy travelling, exploring beauty and fashion, and watching movies. These interests allow me to express my creativity, discover new perspectives, and appreciate different cultures.

I’m interested in teaching because I enjoy the idea of helping others learn, grow, and become more confident in themselves. I believe every learner has the potential to succeed when given the right guidance, encouragement, and support.

I offer English tutoring for primary and high school learners, focusing on areas such as grammar, spelling, reading, writing, vocabulary, and comprehension. My approach is patient and supportive, and I aim to make lessons enjoyable, engaging, and easy to understand. I understand that everyone learns differently, so I want to create a comfortable environment where students feel free to ask questions and learn at their own pace.

My goal is to help learners improve their English skills, gain confidence, and enjoy the learning process. I look forward to supporting students on their educational journey and helping them achieve their goals!

About the lesson

My approach to tutoring is patient, supportive, and focused on each learner’s individual needs. As a current BCom Accounting student, I understand the importance of building good study habits and developing confidence in learning.

I aim to make English lessons enjoyable, interactive, and easy to understand. I adapt my teaching methods to suit each learner’s pace and abilities, creating a comfortable environment where students feel confident asking questions and learning from their mistakes.

My lessons can cover grammar, spelling, reading, writing, vocabulary, comprehension, and assistance with schoolwork. A typical lesson includes reviewing areas the learner finds challenging, explaining concepts step by step, practising together, and completing exercises to strengthen understanding.

My tutoring is aimed at primary and high school learners who want to improve their English skills, strengthen their academic performance, and become more confident in the subject.

I strive to encourage every learner, recognise their progress, and help them reach their full potential through consistent practice and positive support.
